Since 2014 Rust/Exela has facilitated a fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and this year we were able to hit a milestone of raising over $105,862 since starting the fundraising effort. This year we raised $11,130 total, and were the #1 corporate fundraising team for St. Jude! We received an award for placing #4 overall in fundraising efforts (amongst corporate and patient family participants). In a recent Rust town hall, Jen Mills was recognized as the main organizer of this fundraiser.
Raising Hope
Under the #ExelaCares initiative, #TeamExela has rolled out a fundraising campaign for its colleagues in India impacted by the second wave of the COVID-19 virus. The second wave, beginning in March 2021, has been much larger and devastating than the first, leaving millions across the country in a state of fear. Through the #ExelaCares campaign, we are hoping to raise funds to support our colleagues and their families affected by COVID-19 and let them know we've got their back during these trying times. In addition, Exela will match employee donations dollar for dollar, making it possible for us to go the extra mile in doing our bit and making a difference.
